Mission Statement - We are dedicated to representing the people of Fremont Township with honesty, integrity and trusted leadership; we are committed to serving the people of all ages while striving to enhance the quality of life in Fremont Township. FREMONT POPULATION STATS Township government was adopted in 1850 and was mandated by the
State of Illinois to provide Assistance to the Needy, Road &
Bridge maintenance, and Property Assessment. Fremont Township is
located in Lake County, Illinois. Lake County is divided into 18
townships. Generally, there are eight elected officers, elected
for terms of four years: Supervisor, Clerk, Assessor, Highway Commissioner,
and four Trustees. Fremont Township’s area consists of six
square miles and includes portions of the following towns: Mundelein,
Libertyville, Grayslake, Round Lake, Round Lake Park, Long Grove,
Wauconda, Hawthorn Woods, and North Barrington.

UPCOMING EVENTS Girl Scout Troop #40701 is hosting "Pinkie Promise Pajama Walk" which will be held on Sunday May 13th @ 9:00 am at the Ray Lake Trail behind Fremont Intermediate School. This walk is a fundraiser which will benefit local breast cancer patients with supplies.
